About the Chimes

The Chimes is an independent community magazine bringing local news, stories, events and information to the villages of South Herefordshire. Produced by a dedicated team of local volunteers, the magazine is delivered free to approximately 1,500 households and community locations.

Our aim is simple: to keep our villages connected and celebrate the people, places and events that make our communities special.

Funded through local advertising and donations, The Chimes is published every month except January and August.

Our Villages

The Chimes covers five main village areas and their surrounding communities: Aston Ingham • Gorsley • Lea

Linton & Bromsash • Upton Bishop. We also reach neighbouring hamlets, including Aston Crews, Kilcot and Phocle Green.
